Once you send us your desired project specs, I will take the time to sketch up the look, the dimensions, and the details. This will allow you to see, dream, and visualize the piece in your space.

Wood Preferences //
Every one of our pieces are crafted from real, solid wood—never engineered or manufactured materials. This makes all natural variations, grain patterns, knots, and seasonal movement are expected and celebrated as part of true woodworking craftsmanship.
Some of our more common wood species are:
Reclaimed/Old-growth Pine, White Oak (rift, quarter-sawn, and rough sawn) , Ash, and Black Walnut.
Cosmetic Standards //
We want you to be pleased with your custom piece. Through handmade and hand-finished craftsmanship, our tables will showcase the imperfections of real wood, while highlighting the existing history of each plank. Just as every tree is unique, so too is every custom build.
Every piece of furniture will have a unique grain pattern and slight color variation. Other characteristics of handcrafted, solid wood furniture include knots, visible brush strokes, micro-imperfections, textural variations, distress marks, exposed hardware, wood filler marks, joint lines and other minor imperfections. We also allow up to 1” of variation across all measurements due to the custom, handcrafted nature of our furniture.
Custom turned legs+ //
Don’t be limited by what is currently out there.
Though we can recreate any leg style that you find, we love to customize them with designs that will only be featured in your home.

Stains & finishes+ //
Whether “rustic” or “elegant,” we will seek to match the texture, color, and finish that you desire. We have used oil-based, water-based, and solvent-based stains of MANY colors.
And though we can finish it off with any varnish, lacquer, or poly you desire, we have recently been loving the effects of hard-oil wax as both a source of color and a beautiful satin finish that lasts for generations.

Final touches+ //
No table, island, or cabinetry is complete without drawer pulls.
